CASA M1 RESIDENZE VITERBO Our client, a doctor from Chicago, commissioned us to design a house that could be his place of meditation and observation of nature. A sort of temple. Closed to the outside, opened only by choices dictated by the spaces, the house is built within walls that surround it and define its layout. A garden to the east and a body of water to the west where the sunsets can be reflected. The house opens only to the south, towards the swimming pool. Designed to be completely self-sufficient, the house, in addition to adopting a geothermal system, uses sunlight to heat and cool; it also uses rainwater recovery for waste cisterns and washing machine drains. ISA' DESIGN ITALIA Isa' was born from the desire to give elegance and sobriety to a space for conviviality such as a dining room. Equipped with two cushions, they make it comfortable to sit on. Isa' has the possibility of extracting the backrest cushion, which is fixed to the wooden part by a snap system and can be extracted if necessary. We preferred mahogany wood and velvet with light shades, to give greater emphasis to the naturalness of the wood which can be shiny or opaque. Created in two different versions, one with armrests and the other without armrests; both versions can be equipped with lining cushions or without cushions. The backrest cushion is foldable on the sides and in the upper part to increase ergonomics and adapt to the body of its guest. A table chair. LUXURY HOTEL INTERIOR DESIGN VENEZIA The imposing and meticulous renovation of the ancient palace, aimed at preserving every indelible trace of the transformations undergone over the centuries, has brought the decorations of the ceilings and walls of the corridor, the wooden beams painted with gold leaf, back to their ancient splendors. , the Renaissance frescoes and the stone architectural elements, such as the precious marble staircase that leads to the mezzanine floor and the Istrian stone portal on the main floor. The canal garden - a rarity in Venice - is designed to display sculptures by contemporary artists alongside original artefacts from the palace. The Hotel boasts 18 sumptuous rooms, whilst remaining very much in the Venetian vernacular, with glorious fabrics and colours. Some rooms have original frescoes on the walls or ceiling, others have wonderful terrazzo floors. Four suites enjoy a view of the Grand Canal. On the ground floor there are the common areas and the restaurant overlooking the internal courtyard. Palazzo Bacchini delle Palme on the Grand Canal in Venice was the subject of a complete restoration project drawn up with the Arch. CASA 1 RESIDENZE FORMENTERA A piece of land dominates the sea downstream, a slight slope allowed the villa to be gently laid down taking advantage of the slope of the land. The villa is triangular in shape and is on three levels. On the semi-basement floor there is the SPA with indoor swimming pool, the cinema room, the cellar and the service rooms, the staff quarters and a large garage for 6 luxury cars. An elevator connects the three floors. On the ground floor, around a triangular courtyard, where a pool of water refreshes and reflects the light, there are spaces open to social life, a kitchen used by the family, a large party room facing south and dominating the wonderful view of the sea as well as the outdoor swimming pool. Inside, however, a cozy living room overlooks both to the south, onto the courtyard and to the west, onto a garden of fruit trees, here a staircase with a bridge connects to the upper floor where the study, library and another even more intimate living room are located. . A large terrace dominates the view. On the ground floor on one wing of the triangle, there is the sleeping area where the master suite dominates at the end, complete with bathroom and an exit onto a courtyard where an external staircase connects the sleeping area with the terrace upstairs. THE PINBALL SUITE INTERIOR DESIGN VITERBO The Pinball Luxury Suite was born from our client's desire to create a high-level accommodation facility that recreates the typical atmosphere of a home with the comforts of a luxury hotel. The project was not limited only to interior design but was extended into the complete renovation of a historic building in the heart of the city of Viterbo. The building has been completely renovated from the foundations to the roof, seismic improvement interventions have been carried out; all the systems were built from scratch and each suite was made autonomous and smart through the most efficient home automation systems. The interiors of the suites have been designed as real independent apartments, all equipped with kitchens and all comforts, including saunas. All the furnishings were created by Lago Spa and in synergy with Artemide for the lighting project and enriched with exclusive wallpapers designed by the artist Claudia Scarsella. The Pinball project is one of a kind, today several other structures have been created along the same line of concept. VILLA S023 RESIDENZE SIRMIONE, LAGO DI GARDA Villa S023 was born where previously there was a hospitality business. A small family hotel is transformed into a villa. The villa sits on an embankment which raises it above the traffic level of the limited traffic road by 3.60 m. At this altitude we thought about creating a terrace complete with an infinity pool, so you can see the lake with a 180° view. The villa rests on a concrete slab which acts as a base and raises it from the ground as in a pronaos. From here thin columns rise to support the roof. The columns in a wide rhythm emulate the columns of the Villa Cortine. The villa is inspired in its planimetric layout by the villa of Catullus, long and narrow, it rises on a single floor. Two projecting bodies emerge from the slab and the pronaos and house the area reserved for the master suite and the family study/living room. The fully glazed area houses the lounge and dining room. The elongated plan allows in its width to accommodate two distinct bodies, the narrower one of the services, with the kitchen, the servants' rooms; while the larger one, facing the wash to the East, houses the bedrooms, all with internal bathrooms. Below the volume on the ground floor there is a garage for eight luxury cars; a wine cellar, a spa with an indoor pool and an entrance lounge. The villa is served by an elevator system and a panoramic staircase that connects the floors up to the green roof which can be used as a large roof garden to enjoy the 360° panorama of Lake Garda. An enchanting place, full of history and tradition, inspired us for a new Villa on Lake Garda, north of Sirmione. A peninsula that still today shows the remains of Catullus' Villa as well as the possibility of meditating while observing the sunrises and sunsets. TEODOSIO DESIGN ITALIA Teodosio is dedicated to a great sculptor, Teodosio Magnoni, with whom we have collaborated for some time for some important projects such as the Museum for ART OMI, where a room was dedicated to the work of this sculptor. Teodosio, is a work that arises from the void, from the reflection on how a void can become a place. His geometry repeats an alternating rhythm, which enhances his form through light. Teodosio is a lamp or a piece of furniture, which can be placed in any place in a house. Designed as a sculpture, it stands and rises in the lightness of its form. IRIS DESIGN ITALIA Since then I started thinking about objects that belong to the world of living and I no longer saw them as separate elements. I don't think of them as complements, but as essences that are part of a complex world, which is that of living. However, in making design objects you need to deal with the world of mass production; and then the designs must be defined in order to be sold and inserted into different worlds, into other ways of living. However, I believe that even a single chair can express the meaning of living, that profound meaning that I try to give to the homes I design. For me, a chair expresses the desire to sit, and it must not be so comfortable that you forget that sobriety represents a superior state of beauty, because beauty is not an end in itself, but belongs to a wider world where the love and harmony are part of it. Understanding and knowing how to reflect on abundance and what is superfluous, I think it is a good way to start meditate on the phenomena of life; a chair, in the simplicity of its lines and materials, goes beyond form only when it reaches the essence for which it was created.
