VILLA RR RESIDENZE VETRALLA The client has tasked us with drawing up a project that satisfies both the characteristics of energy efficiency and structural safety as well as having care and maximum attention to environmental aspects such as the recovery of rainwater, which for the use of solar energy and for cool and heat the rooms. A further important aspect, requested by the client, was the integration of the project with the surrounding environment. We immediately focused our attention on the aspects of natural light within the site where the villa would be built. From the first visits to the site, we realized that the pre-existing building, of high volumetric consistency, had a location error with respect to solar exposure; furthermore it presented an entire front close to the coast, depriving the entire front of natural light. From these two observations, we understood that the new villa should have developed almost for its entire surface on a single floor. This choice was dictated precisely by the desire to make the new building have as little impact as possible on the surrounding environment. From a careful study of the Genius Loci and a careful observation of sunlight, we chose to rotate the villa by 13.5° with respect to Zen and to move it away from the coast, in doing so, we created an interstitial space between the building and the coast which will be destined for a real Zen garden. The villa develops, almost for its entire covered surface, on a single floor; and was designed to accommodate two distinct residential units, which however can make use of the common spaces inside, such as a gym and a party room. This last space connects the outside to the inside and connects the outdoor pool area to that of the Zen garden which also overlooks the gym. On the upper floor there is the guest apartment, which juts out like a telescope and overlooks the swimming pool and the surrounding area. Villa RR is a building under construction and is the result of a recovery intervention of the existing building heritage, which saw the demolition of the pre-existing building for the construction of a nearly zero energy building (nZEB). A table chair. ISA' goes well with the Téo table and together they enhance their sobriety and elegance. Pure and simple lines for lots of comfort. ISA' e TE'O Isa' was born from the desire to give elegance and sobriety to a space for conviviality such as a dining room. Equipped with two cushions, they make it comfortable to sit on. Isa' has the possibility of extracting the backrest cushion, which is fixed to the wooden part by a snap system and can be extracted if necessary. We preferred mahogany wood and velvet with light shades, to give greater emphasis to the naturalness of the wood which can be shiny or opaque. Created in two different versions, one with armrests and the other without armrests; both versions can be equipped with lining cushions or without cushions. The backrest cushion is foldable on the sides and in the upper part to increase ergonomics and adapt to the body of its guest. A table chair. PEO' DESIGN ITALIA Peo' is a round table, where the contrast between two materials is enhanced by the simplicity of its shapes. Having lunch or having a coffee becomes tastier and more pleasant if the support is made of a natural, noble material such as white Carrara marble. The feet are two metal monoliths that touch each other and which together with a cylindrical foot support the top. MUSEO DELLA LUCE GRANDE SCALA PUCON Our project started from this challenge with the clear intention of ensuring that a place of light can arise, a space that has chosen to live only with natural light. Its shape welcomes meditation spaces, where art is a link between man and the events of nature. A limbo of water reflects and softens the shapes, vibrates and holds the moods. A place of the mind, it joins its function, that of welcoming the works of art of artists who prevail over form and architecture. It must, through silence, allow the spectator to understand what the art represents. A museum that thrives on natural light, this is the challenge that our client asked us to meet. A difficult but very stimulating challenge which involves having to start questioning ourselves again about light and shadow, about day and night, about seeing and glimpsing, one of the challenges being to ensure that works of art accentuate their value as works under the sunlight. CIRCLE GRANDE SCALA BERLINO Combining art, culture and nature, this was the client's request. The ultimate aim was to create a real house of art, where nature, art and humanity can feel one. We wanted to insert nature into the place through its phenomena. Capturing the light, the wind, the materiality, for this reason we wanted to create a place, an interstitial space, which contains a showcase displaying art and the interior merges with the exterior, so nature and artifice begin to resonate and enter in a symbiosis that brings out the culture of living. Being there as a presence harmonises with the environment and begins to vibrate and merge with the body of water on which the building emerges, this vibration harmonises the environment and creates a place of calm and silence. The silence and the apparent coldness are animated by the presence of man and through the phenomena of nature awaken the senses and open the soul towards a sense of belonging by stimulating culture. The project was born inside the Tiergarten park, in a place known by the name of the sculpture which is positioned in the center of the space. Amazone zu Pferde had to remain within the project; given the circular shape of the place we thought of a real building with a circular plan, which however would create a void, within this void, in the center of this void, the statue of the Amazone zu Pferde marks time and regulates the proportions of space. A convex roof creates the architecture and seems suspended in the air, so as to heighten the sense of suspension which contrasts with its materiality, a reinforced concrete wall delimits the place and a glass window open towards the center forms a gallery between the interior and external, where the art can be displayed, as in a display case, giving it a sense of sacredness.
