VILLA RR RESIDENZE VETRALLA The client has tasked us with drawing up a project that satisfies both the characteristics of energy efficiency and structural safety as well as having care and maximum attention to environmental aspects such as the recovery of rainwater, which for the use of solar energy and for cool and heat the rooms. A further important aspect, requested by the client, was the integration of the project with the surrounding environment. We immediately focused our attention on the aspects of natural light within the site where the villa would be built. From the first visits to the site, we realized that the pre-existing building, of high volumetric consistency, had a location error with respect to solar exposure; furthermore it presented an entire front close to the coast, depriving the entire front of natural light. From these two observations, we understood that the new villa should have developed almost for its entire surface on a single floor. This choice was dictated precisely by the desire to make the new building have as little impact as possible on the surrounding environment. From a careful study of the Genius Loci and a careful observation of sunlight, we chose to rotate the villa by 13.5° with respect to Zen and to move it away from the coast, in doing so, we created an interstitial space between the building and the coast which will be destined for a real Zen garden. The villa develops, almost for its entire covered surface, on a single floor; and was designed to accommodate two distinct residential units, which however can make use of the common spaces inside, such as a gym and a party room. This last space connects the outside to the inside and connects the outdoor pool area to that of the Zen garden which also overlooks the gym. On the upper floor there is the guest apartment, which juts out like a telescope and overlooks the swimming pool and the surrounding area. Villa Ramondino is a building under construction and is the result of a recovery intervention of the existing building heritage, which saw the demolition of the pre-existing building for the construction of a nearly zero energy building (nZEB). MC APARTAMENT INTERIOR DESIGN ROMA The compositional linearity and attention to detail is aimed at restoring spatial and functional flexibility to the environments, giving a "stronger" image. A characterizing element of the project is the use of glass: the protagonist in the staircase, on the landing. In the full-height sliding panels of the living area, ending with the cladding of the doors and kitchen doors. The chromatic and material choices make for a warm and hospitable environment: in the range of materials used predominate: oak for the flooring, white for the carpentry works and of the ceilings, next to the slate of the fireplace wall cladding, to the black of the metal sheets covering of the pillars. RIMADESIO APARTMENT INTERIOR DESIGN ROMA The choice to preserve the original marble of the living area was strategic, to make the space expanded and even brighter. The design staff then chose with the client a palette of natural colors for the furnishings and paintings, creating continuity and harmony in all the environments. A timeless living room, in which Rimadesio products integrate perfectly and create a warm and welcoming environment. The Modulor walnut boiserie redesigns the corner, creating continuity between the rooms. Also by Rimadesio are the Alambra display cabinets, the new Francis table in black oak and the Self TV cabinet in glass and bronze aluminium. In the conversation area, the Grande Soffice sofa by Edra, designed by Francesco Binafrè. The kitchen is the place where family life mostly takes place. Enclosed within the corner delimited by the Modulor boiserie by Rimadesio in walnut which hides, almost surprisingly, the guest bathroom. The large Velaria and Graphis plus sliding doors by Rimadesio connect the rooms of the house, day and night, creating continuity but guaranteeing privacy. The generous windows (Starwood) are screened by “Tao” roller blinds. LUXURY HOTEL INTERIOR DESIGN VENEZIA The imposing and meticulous renovation of the ancient palace, aimed at preserving every indelible trace of the transformations undergone over the centuries, has brought the decorations of the ceilings and walls of the corridor, the wooden beams painted with gold leaf, back to their ancient splendors. , the Renaissance frescoes and the stone architectural elements, such as the precious marble staircase that leads to the mezzanine floor and the Istrian stone portal on the main floor. The canal garden - a rarity in Venice - is designed to display sculptures by contemporary artists alongside original artefacts from the palace. The Hotel boasts 18 sumptuous rooms, whilst remaining very much in the Venetian vernacular, with glorious fabrics and colours. Some rooms have original frescoes on the walls or ceiling, others have wonderful terrazzo floors. Four suites enjoy a view of the Grand Canal. On the ground floor there are the common areas and the restaurant overlooking the internal courtyard. Palazzo Bacchini delle Palme on the Grand Canal in Venice was the subject of a complete restoration project drawn up with the Arch. MUSEO DELLA LUCE GRANDE SCALA PUCON Our project started from this challenge with the clear intention of ensuring that a place of light can arise, a space that has chosen to live only with natural light. Its shape welcomes meditation spaces, where art is a link between man and the events of nature. A limbo of water reflects and softens the shapes, vibrates and holds the moods. A place of the mind, it joins its function, that of welcoming the works of art of artists who prevail over form and architecture. It must, through silence, allow the spectator to understand what the art represents. A museum that thrives on natural light, this is the challenge that our client asked us to meet. A difficult but very stimulating challenge which involves having to start questioning ourselves again about light and shadow, about day and night, about seeing and glimpsing, one of the challenges being to ensure that works of art accentuate their value as works under the sunlight. VILLA S023 RESIDENZE SIRMIONE, LAGO DI GARDA Villa S023 was born where previously there was a hospitality business. A small family hotel is transformed into a villa. The villa sits on an embankment which raises it above the traffic level of the limited traffic road by 3.60 m. At this altitude we thought about creating a terrace complete with an infinity pool, so you can see the lake with a 180° view. The villa rests on a concrete slab which acts as a base and raises it from the ground as in a pronaos. From here thin columns rise to support the roof. The columns in a wide rhythm emulate the columns of the Villa Cortine. The villa is inspired in its planimetric layout by the villa of Catullus, long and narrow, it rises on a single floor. Two projecting bodies emerge from the slab and the pronaos and house the area reserved for the master suite and the family study/living room. The fully glazed area houses the lounge and dining room. The elongated plan allows in its width to accommodate two distinct bodies, the narrower one of the services, with the kitchen, the servants' rooms; while the larger one, facing the wash to the East, houses the bedrooms, all with internal bathrooms. Below the volume on the ground floor there is a garage for eight luxury cars; a wine cellar, a spa with an indoor pool and an entrance lounge. The villa is served by an elevator system and a panoramic staircase that connects the floors up to the green roof which can be used as a large roof garden to enjoy the 360° panorama of Lake Garda. An enchanting place, full of history and tradition, inspired us for a new Villa on Lake Garda, north of Sirmione. A peninsula that still today shows the remains of Catullus' Villa as well as the possibility of meditating while observing the sunrises and sunsets. IRIS DESIGN ITALIA Since then I started thinking about objects that belong to the world of living and I no longer saw them as separate elements. I don't think of them as complements, but as essences that are part of a complex world, which is that of living. However, in making design objects you need to deal with the world of mass production; and then the designs must be defined in order to be sold and inserted into different worlds, into other ways of living. However, I believe that even a single chair can express the meaning of living, that profound meaning that I try to give to the homes I design. For me, a chair expresses the desire to sit, and it must not be so comfortable that you forget that sobriety represents a superior state of beauty, because beauty is not an end in itself, but belongs to a wider world where the love and harmony are part of it. Understanding and knowing how to reflect on abundance and what is superfluous, I think it is a good way to start meditate on the phenomena of life; a chair, in the simplicity of its lines and materials, goes beyond form only when it reaches the essence for which it was created. RESIDENZE RES20 GRANDE SCALA LUGANO Res20 is a high-end residential building, it includes three types of apartments; two simplex and one duplex. The simplex are of different sizes, one larger for a family and the smaller for couples or singles. In Res20 there are all the latest generation technologies, such as a VMC system with air purification, home automation with the possibility of remotely controlling not only the internal temperature or the lights but also the latest generation IOT appliances. The residences are in nZEB energy class and passive class. Completely energy self-sufficient. A high-end residential apartment building designed to become a smart, energy efficient and safe building.
