The interior design of this private home, located in the heart of the monumental center of Rome, was guided by a simple objective: to restore the existing shell, thus strengthening its monumental and historical identity, and superimposing a contemporary layer capable of supporting the residential architecture program and all the activities related to contemporary living.

This new layer develops along the entire perimeter of the apartment supporting different functions all linked to the different spaces and programs; wardrobe, bookcase or simple shelving interact with the existing casing, changing shape but maintaining a unique identity and materiality.
