VILLA AQ
A villa perched on a hill; it originates from the highest point, where the 360° view allows you to see Mount Soratte to the north and Rome to the south.
We conceived the villa within a triangle, with the southern elevation, rotated 45°, opening to the southwest; here, a water courtyard reflects the sky and sunsets. This courtyard, an interstitial space, overlooks the heart of the home, its living rooms and study, both commissioned by the client.
A house with two distinct lives: one more private and intimate, and one dedicated to social life and gatherings.
The private space on two levels, in addition to its southwest-facing water courtyard, faces northeast with a "Zen" garden; a space filled with silence where the family can enjoy their most intimate moments. Outside, in addition to a specially designed south-facing terrace that offers views not only of the sunsets but of Rome, the "Eternal City," a swimming pool juts out, appearing suspended in mid-air, creating a body of water ready to capture the sunsets.
