MUSEUM OF LIGHT

A museum that thrives on natural light: this is the challenge our client asked us to tackle.
A difficult but highly stimulating challenge, it requires us to reconsider light and shadow, day and night, seeing and glimpsing. One of the challenges is ensuring that the artworks enhance their value when exposed to sunlight.
Our project began with this challenge, with the clear intention of creating a place of light, a space that chooses to thrive solely on natural light. Its form accommodates spaces for meditation, where art acts as a bridge between humanity and the events of nature.
A limbo of water reflects and softens forms, vibrates and holds moods.
A place of the mind, united with its function, that of hosting works of art by artists who prevail over form and architecture. It must, through silence, allow the viewer to understand what art represents.
