VILLA INFINITY'

A villa, like a ship, stands silently on the sea, observing the infinite waves and dominating the landscape with its view.
This villa stands next to the famous villa designed by Tadao Ando. For us, this represents a great challenge, a challenge to strive for the most silent and pure possible, with simple and restrained forms, without excesses that could transform the enormous volume into noise and chaos.
The villa sits in a commanding position, overlooking the coast, overlooking the sea, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the horizon; it allows for endless contemplation of the sea waves.
The client's design brief included one overriding requirement: that the villa be hidden from view from the entrance, recessed into the ground if possible. We therefore decided to recess the villa below the entrance level, so that the only part rising from the ground is the tower, which houses both the entrance and the study. A terrace with a pool of water blends into the horizon, where the sea dominates.
The other project requirement was the need to accommodate a large auditorium seating over 150 people for private performances, complete with a spacious foyer for dinners and receptions. This requirement, unusual for a villa, was met by locating these functions in the basement at a height of 7.20 meters. This allowed us to create a theater/auditorium with a glass wall overlooking the ocean, allowing natural light to enter when needed, both for rehearsals and some performances.
The villa itself is located on the -3.60 m level, with an over 150 m2 apartment for the owners, complete with a mini-kitchen and a private entrance adjacent to the helipad.
Four suites, equipped with every comfort, including an outdoor space with sea views, allow guests to stay in complete privacy. A spacious living room overlooks a swimming pool, infinitely extending over the sea.
The simplicity, inspired by the presence of an imposing villa, inspired us to desire the wonder and silence that for us are the only form of true beauty.
